Rover Scouts Type and You Need to Know About.

Rover Scouts is a worldwide non-political social working base youth movement. The world’s many countries have scout activities. British military Lieutenant-General Lord Baden-Powell (February 22, 1857 – January 8, 1941) is the founder of the Scout Movement. After independent Bangladesh became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement on July 1, 1974.

Types of Scouts – Rover Scouts You Need to Know About

Type of Scout:

  • Cub Scouts – ages 6 to 11
  • Scouts – ages 11 to 17
  • Rover Scouts – ages 17 to 25

Cub Scouts:

Scouting for young children usually between 5 to12 years, and it’s depending on the national organization. Cub Scouting is a wonderful program that provides a safe and FUN way to learn some new skills and have great experiences! some of the exciting activities of Cub Scouts listed below!

Sports: Healthy and physically fit are important parts of Scouting too!  Many children of Scout are involved in sports or activities at school. And they enjoy it. Following sports:

  • Baseball
  • Basketball
  • Bowling
  • Flag Football
  • Hockey
  • Kickball
  • Skateboarding
  • Soccer
  • Softball
  • Swimming

Safe Instruction: Archery and BB Gun Shooting are some of the most exciting ways that Scouts get at Council or District run events.  Each of these activities is designed to be safe with proper and experienced adult supervision.

New Friends: Scouting involves working together, which leads to the best creation of friendships that will last a lifetime.  Many children of Scout become Cub Scouts together and grow and learn all the way through high school as they work together first in a den and then in Scouts BSA as a patrol.

Scouts :

Scouts are for boys who are at least 11 years old and not older than 17. Ninety-five percent of Scouts participated in the Cub Scouts when they were younger. The original intent of the Scouts, as stated in the articles of incorporation, was to teach patriotism, courage, self-reliance and kindred values, etc. This mission has been updated over the years. The current mission of the Scouts is: to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. and they learn members develop leadership skills and teach others while pursuing specialized skills.

Rover Scouts:

Rover Scouting is a service program associated with Scouting for young men and, in the world’s many countries, women, into their early 20s. A Rovers group is called a ‘Rover Crew’. The program of Rover Scouts is one of leadership and service among older youth/young adults. the Crews are expected to do service and leadership work as part of their program. The highlight of their program is a “quest”, which intended as a large outdoor service work or project. In many ways, it corresponds to the work done by various service groups, clubs, as well as Alpha Phi Omega and a college service fraternity based on scouting principles.


Scout Law:

  • A Scout is loyal.
  • A Scout’s duty is to be useful and to help others.
  • A Scout is a friend to all and a brother to every other Scout.
  • A Scout is courteous.
  • A Scout is a friend to animals.
  • A Scout obeys orders of his parents, Patrol Leader or Scoutmaster without question.
  • A Scout smiles and whistles under all difficulties.
  • A Scout is thrifty.
  • A Scout is clean in thought, word, and deed.

Human service of scout:

The main comment is to provide service. The fundamental think of scout is to provide service. the service may be in various forms. The forms of service one self-service, social services, and the man service.

Self-service means self-relatability is to ready himself as a good personality with the quality of self-reliance. Because a man who is not self-reliable cannot provide service to others and it’s also not possible for him to do any social big concern scouts do ready himself with quality of big thinking of social service and with this they work for general peoples, every scout also thinks for his family besides social service. As a family member, they maintain family responsibilities proper respect to the creator, respect to religion and religious institutions and to be kind to god’s every creation is the ideal of a scout.

They also help in national work. Like 16 December,21 February, traffic week, flood problem solves, etc.
